Learn Spanish in Cordoba, Argentina

 The City

The City:

  • Cordoba is a safe and modern city, considered the second most important city in Argentina (population 1 million).
  • Because Cordoba does not normally receive great numbers of foreign tourists, you’ll have the chance to experience ordinary daily life in Argentina as lived by the locals.
  • Thanks to its proximity to the mountains, Cordoba is the perfect base for excursions into the natural beauty of the Andes, or even the Pampas, 100 km to the south.
The School

Our partner school in Cordoba is located downtown, close to the city's central shopping district. It is a two-storey building which comfortably accommodates 80 students. School facilities include 12 classrooms, a meeting room where you can enjoy coffee, tea or "mate", a kitchen, a room with audio, video and internet access, a cafeteria, and a roof deck with stunning views of this colonial city. There is also a backyard garden and a swimming pool. The school is handicapped accessible.

Spanish Courses in Cordoba
  • Intensive group course: 20 group classes/week
  • Super-intensive group course: 30 group classes/week
  • One to One private course: 10 classes/week
  • Intensive Spanish + Tango: 20 group classes/week + 10 dance classes

Your course includes a free welcome brunch and a guided city walk to get you acquainted with the city, your teachers and your fellow students.

You’ll never study with more then 7 students in a group, even as a beginner, and the average number of students in a study group is 3.

Timetable

Classes are available mornings and afternoons, and each class lasts 55 minutes.

Teachers

All of the teachers at the Cordoba school are qualified, experienced, and dedicated to making your stay in Argentina effortless, comfortable and productive.

Accommodation

You may choose between staying with an Argentinian host family or in a student residence.

Activities and Excursions

The school plans at least 2 cultural activities per week, from excursions to films and classes on cultural topics.

Our Opinion

Its location in the centre of the country makes Cordoba a convenient base for travels through Argentina. What's more, both the Andes and the Pampas are just a short trip away, providing the ideal geographical setting for skiers and nature lovers alike.

With few tourists, a mild climate, beautiful historic buildings, a prestigious university, and valleys, lakes and rivers ambling through this graceful and picturesque city, Cordoba is an ideal location for a Spanish course which takes in an enriching cultural exchange, as well.
