FILM FESTIVAL - March 13 to 22

The very best of the Spanish and Latin American film industries meet in this festival, now in its 22nd year.

HOLY WEEK - April 5 to 12

The holy statues are carried through the streets accompanied by songs being performed from different balconies.

MALAGA FAIR - August 15 to 22

The biggest summer event. Traditional costumes and horses abound at the fairgrounds.

SAINT JOHN - June 23

Bonfires and sardine skewers at all the beaches. At midnight, huge puppets are burned.

THREE WISE MEN PARADE - January 5

The three Magi tour the streets, throwing candies to be picked up by the children.
